How I Style Overalls!

People hear "overalls" and cringe, thinking of the oversized/shapeless ugly ones from the 90's! They've come so far. I seriously love them!  They keep your pants up and your shirt in place to not have to be messing with your clothes all the dern time!!  They are my FAVORITE to fly in. Being in the tiny little seats/spaces, I hate having to adjust my clothes, etc!  They're also amazing for casual every day as well, of course!

I have a boyfriend fit style, but they're currently too snug to wear cute! I have them in Medium from when I was a little smaller earlier this year. Kind of wish I also had a L, but I need to get myself back in to the M! I mean, I CAN wear the M, but they don't fit how I like. Those ones have no stretch!

On to this style, I LOVE the fit. They're stretchy and even though they don't open on the hips (gotta work them over the buns/thighs!), once they're up, they're soooo comfy. I got these for free (AE rewards ROCK!) but I think I'm going to exchange them for the dark plain pair vs these super distressed pair! Per the reviews, SIZE up. I ordered the 12 & they fit perfect!

With just a plain white tee!

Add a flannel around the waist to layer if needed or just throw in on top! These
are my FAVE flannels ever! They're sooo soft. If only someone would come out with
flannel + stretch!

These henley "thermals" from Walmart are my fave! I size up to XL in these!

I can't get enough of this hat!!

Don't be afraid to layer on top, either! I LOVE vests in the winter. Especially for driving.
You get the warmth, but not all the bulk a coat gives. This one is thinner,
but is still helpful to keep warm!

When all is said and done, let's be honest. This is what I end up in!
Sweatshirt is Aerie from last year, I have two! I love how long they are
and the big wide strings!

The joggers are my fave sweats ever. Last winter, Old Navy made these
moto jogger sweats (thicker, too!) and they CAME IN TALL!  I have these
black ones and a navy pair. I LOVE them so much and haven't
seen anything similar from them since! I'll keep my eye out!

PS - I told myself to clean my mirror before this & forgot. Oops!

For reference!
I got these for my 9 year old in a 0 short - I started with
the 00 short, but they were just too snug. I'll be
exchanging mine for these ones as well!

Let me know if you want to see the dark pair and how I style them when I get them! I'm thinking they'll be able to be dressed up a lot more!
